Born out of nostalgia for childhood camping trips, Scraps of Summer combines old photographs and illustrated trinkets with upcycled fabrics to explore how cherished memories become fragmented and embellished over time. Pieces of denim, antique lace, and bundle-dyed silk are woven and printed, forming a visual scrapbook that captures the carefree allure of summertime by the lake.
